What TradingForms is

TradingForms is a free toolbox for the paperwork of buying and selling across borders. It brings together the documents, calculators and plain answers that importers, exporters, freight forwarders and small trading businesses need every day, in one place and without an account.

What you can do here

• Fill in trade documents: proforma invoices, commercial invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin and purchase orders, downloaded as PDF, Word or Excel.
• Run the numbers: CBM, dimensional weight, container space, markup and gross profit, with the formula shown next to every result.
• Understand the rules: each of the 11 Incoterms 2020 rules explained with a cost and risk chart, an Incoterms chooser, and a trade glossary.

How we build it

• Your data stays with you. Calculators and document generators run in your browser. What you type is not uploaded to our servers.
• Formulas in the open. Every calculator shows how it gets its answer, so you can check it.
• Checked against the source. Incoterms pages follow the ICC's Incoterms 2020 rules; units use exact conversion factors; container figures are typical published values, labelled as such.
• Free to use. No sign up, no limit on downloads.

Languages

TradingForms is being built in eight languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese, Portuguese and Russian. A page appears in a language only when it has been fully translated; until then you see the English version.
