The short version
- Our calculators and document generators run in your browser. The figures, company details and documents you enter are not uploaded to our servers.
- Document drafts are saved only in your own browser, so you can come back to them. You can delete them at any time.
- You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to use a tool.
- We collect personal data only when you contact us, plus basic usage statistics, and analytics cookies only with your consent where the law requires it.
- We never sell your personal data.
Who we are
TradingForms (tradingforms.com) provides free tools for import and export paperwork. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean the TradingForms team. Contact: support@tradingforms.com.
What you enter in the tools
Calculators and document generators work with JavaScript in your browser. When you download a PDF, Word or Excel file, the file is created on your device. We cannot see the numbers, names, addresses, prices or logos you enter, and we do not store them.
To save you from retyping, each document generator keeps your latest draft in your browser's local storage (under keys starting with tf-doc-). It stays on your device until you clear it: use the Clear button in the tool, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Information we collect
When you contact us
If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message, together with the IP address it was sent from (to block spam and abuse). We use them only to answer you and to improve the site.
Basic usage statistics
Our own statistics count page views and simple events, such as which tool buttons are used. Your browser sends the page address, the referring page, the screen width and the browser language; our server adds the IP address, browser type and country to recognise repeat views on the same day. We set no cookie for this and store no identifier on your device. We use the results in aggregate only.
Analytics cookies
We may use Google Analytics, and similar tools such as Microsoft Clarity, to understand how pages are used. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they store cookies only after you click Accept in the cookie banner; elsewhere they run by default and you can decline in the banner. Without consent they run in a cookieless mode or not at all. See the Cookie Policy.
Server logs
Our hosting records technical request logs (IP address, requested URL, time and browser) to keep the service secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to build profiles.
How we use information
- To run, secure and improve the website and tools
- To answer your messages and fix the problems you report
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages and tools are useful
- To comply with legal obligations

Advertising
Some pages may show ads. Advertising partners such as Google may use cookies to show and measure ads only if you consent; without consent, only non personalised ads, if any, are shown.
How long we keep data
- What you enter in tools: never received or stored by us
- Drafts in your browser: until you clear them
- Contact messages: up to 24 months, then deleted
- Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics
- Server logs: up to 30 days
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@tradingforms.com. We answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Some service providers, such as Google, may process data outside your country. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Children
TradingForms is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Because the tools work on your device, the documents and figures you enter never reach us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
