Costs to include before you price imported goods
Price from your full landed cost, not the supplier's invoice price. For imported goods that means the product price plus freight, insurance, customs duty, import taxes you cannot reclaim, clearance and port charges, and local delivery to your warehouse. Who pays which of these depends on the Incoterm in your contract: under EXW almost everything is yours, under DDP the seller pays up to your door. Freight is often charged on volume, so the CBM calculator helps you estimate it per carton.
