Net 30 is a payment term: the full invoice amount is due 30 calendar days after the invoice date. This calculator turns any term into a due date and tells you how many days are left, so you can plan cash and chase late payers on time.
"Net" means the full amount, and 30 is the number of days. An invoice dated 15 January on Net 30 is due on 14 February. Net 60 and Net 90 work the same way.
| Term | When payment is due |
|---|---|
| Due on receipt | The day the invoice arrives |
| Net 15 / 30 / 60 | 15, 30 or 60 days after the invoice date |
| Net 30 EOM | 30 days after the end of the invoice month |
| 2/10 Net 30 | 2% off if paid within 10 days, otherwise the full amount in 30 |
Skipping a 2/10 Net 30 discount costs about 37% a year, because you pay 2% to keep the money 20 days longer. If you can borrow for less, take the discount. Chasing a late invoice? The payment reminder email generator writes the email.
